Louisiana Snow Day???!?!?!?!!!!!?!?!?!!?!?

It actually snowed in Louisiana!!!! I don't think in my life time it has snowed this much here! The only time I have seen snow like this was when I went to New York City! it was magical, I felt like I was in Narnia or a Postcard. Highland looked beautiful!

The fashion is incredible !!!!!!!!!!

From the cute waist lines to the poofy skirts. I drool over all of Betty Drapers outfits, from her cute little night gowns to her extravagant evening gowns.

Joans tight secretary dresses are to die for as well.

and the suits, oh the suits, I wish the men of america still dressed like this! These men are so handsome!!!!

Dalzell Video

Dalzell is my house. Its more than a house, its my home! i love this place. When it is time to move on to bigger and better things it will be a sad day, not just for me but for alot of people! We have house shows, family dinners, art nights, we actually hangout, we are more than room mates we are friends, family!!!!! I love these people, i love my pets. There have been so many people who have lived at Dalzell at one time or another from living in the laundry room, to sleeping on the couch for weeks on end. This place is a home to not only the people who live there but to its community!!!!!

In a land far far away, lived a princess!

I am a huge fan of fairy tales and forts. I mean it seems like they go hand in hand! One of my new years resolutions is to build a tent myself by hand, figure out diminsions and everything myself!!!! I am excited and I hope I can do it!

Whats in my purse ?

This is a whats in my purse post, so lets see:

My purse its self was an awesome find at a local vintage shop here in Shreveport and i love it!

- an old cassette tape i found at my parents house, that was a mix tape I had made for myself when I was like 12. its super funny, it had alot of Space jam and Celine Dion.

- Black coin purse that I keep my cards in

- Blue bracelete

- Cowboys wallet i found at a thrift shop, I am mailing it to my nephew that lives in Dallas soon.

- a pouch for jacks, but i use it for my moneys

- a vintage coin purse, I keep all my pennies in it. its a super cool little thing.

- Pencil or pen holder, I made oout of scraps.

- Excedrin Migrane, which i never leave home without

- Japanesse Cherry Blosom lotion, my fav.

- 2 bottles of nail polish

- Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins- I am trying to grow my hair out.

- A broken swatch watch :(

- A button that came off of a vest

- a Bobby Pin

- Wodden Beaded necklace

-The yellow paper thats floded up is a makeshift envelope to hold money for bills

- The white paper is my material to write a lesson for a retreat at church with my youth

Sage Conference

The sage conference, is a conference for teenage girls. The ladies that put it all together teach classes on dating , being a lady, suffering, dealing with hard things you go through just being a teenager. It was very good for our girls to get to experience something like this.

In one of the seroms, the woman speaking asked the girls to describe thier relationship with God in 3 words and this is some of what the girls thought of.
